7 Ways To Generate Sales Online Without Using Facebook

Seemingly ever day, Facebook is becoming a less and less hospitable place for network marketers...

Unless you're willing to invest heavily in Facebook ads. 

Granted, Facebook ads can do wonders for you business, and they are incredibly powerful. 

The problem is that ads are becoming  more expensive every day with increasing competion...


And there is a steep learning curve for Facebook ads, so you have to be willing to lose a lot of money up-front before you can start seeing profits.


But you can forget about organic reach on Facebook. You can't post something on your business page and expect many to see it. 

Not only that, but once it's posted, within hours, it's pretty much gone. Never to be seen again. 

So...

How can you grow your network marketing business and generate sales online without using Facebook? 

In short...

There are a ton of different ways to grow your business online, from using other social platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, to utilizing non-social strategies like email and influencer marketing.

Facebook

So I know this post is about how to sell WITHOUT Facebook...

But I wanted to be sure to first cover ALL of the methods that are available on Facebook, since you might not be familiar with just how many ways there are to build your business on Facebook.

Facebook Live


Right now, when it comes to getting organic reach with your Facebook content, nothing beats Facebook Live.

Live videos are hands-down the best way to get attention on Facebook right now. 

So you can shoot videos promoting your products, or providing valuable information to your target market and promote a lead magnet or information in exchange for their email. 

This can be an effective way to build your email list.

Facebook Page


Facebook Business Pages get hardly any organic exposure, so it might seem a little pointless to post there...

But Business Pages are necessary for 3 reasons:

  1. It's against Facebook's rules to use a personal profile page for business
  2. You need one in order to run Facebook Ads
  3. They give you social proof (if you have a big page with a lot of "likes" that is)

Facebook Group


Groups are better than pages when it comes to engagement and organic reach, but these are slowly being throttled as well.

That said, groups can be a great place to build an engaged audience to whom you can  occasionally promote your products. 

Facebook Bot


Facebook messenger bots are also a powerful tool for selling on Facebook. 

They essentially allow you to have a second email list on Facebook. 

Imagine being able to send a Facebook message to hundreds of people at once letting them know about your company's new sale!

Facebook Ads


Facebook ads are probably THE BEST way to sell on Facebook. 

Like I said above, though, there is a pretty steep barrier to entry with Facebook Ads, as they are expensive at first, and take a lot of knowledge and skills. 

That said, if you can get them working for you, you can make a full-time income. 

Facebook Stories


Rumor has it that these are going to be the next big thing on Facebook!


Instagram

Instagram is another great way to sell your products online!

  1. Build up an engaged following on a very niched account
  2. Recommend your products
  3. Get sales!

Pinterest

Pinterest is my FAVORITE social media platform right now.

Since Pinterest is a search engine, you can get leads and sales months and even YEARS after posting a "pin". 

Not only that, but Pinterest ads are WAY cheaper than Facebook right now.

YouTube

Similar to Pinterest, YouTube is a search engine, so if you can build up a catalog of videos, each one can continue bringing you leads and customers years down the road.

Blogging

Blogging is hands-down the best long-term strategy for growing a thriving business. 

Social media comes and goes, and you can't control what happens. 

However, when you have a blog, you own and control it. It enables you to convert visitors into leads and customers!

And if you use paid advertising, then you only need a couple posts to get started generating leads and sales.

Email Marketing

If you don't already have an email list, then stop right now and get one!

Email is still THE best strategy for generating sales.

Influencer Marketing

At last! We have arrived at my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE way to grow a network marketing business, no matter what stage you're at. 

This is the strategy I used when I got started back in 2010, and I used it to build my team to over 7,000 members!

And I still use it today to continually generate sales and new team members.

Influencer Marketing is the strategy of having people with large followings in your target market promote your products for you!

A Word Of Warning!

Don't try all of these strategies at once! You'll water down your efforts and struggle to get any results. 


Instead, pick ONE strategy, and go ALL IN! Ignore everything else!

If you're not sure what strategy to focus on, I recommend influencer marketing. 

This is the most beginner-friendly strategy with the biggest possible upside in my opinion. 

After all, it's how I grew my business when I started!
