1. Set Time Blocks

Schedule a focused work-time in your daily schedule to work on your business. 

And not only that, but schedule what SPECIFICALLY you will be working on. 

Be sure to schedule the MOST IMPORTANT things first, which should be income-producing activities.

This will help you get focused and work on only the most important tasks for your business so you're not wasting time on activities that aren't going to grow your business. 

The reality is that 80% of what you're doing is only generating 20% of your results.

And conversely, 20% of what you're doing is giving you 80% of your results!

So be sure to focus on that 20% that is giving you your most results!

2. Set Deadlines

You need to set deadlines for completing your business projects. 

When you leave things open-ended, they usually never get done. 

In fact, there is a phenomenon called "Parkinson's Law", which states: 

If you think about this, you know it to be true.

How many times have you given yourself a huge amount of time to work on something, but you wait until the last minute to get it completed? 

You could have just given yourself less time and gotten it done much faster, and never felt the stress and overwhelm of a big project looming over you! 

3. Take Breaks!

So often, we as moms and entrepreneurs feel like we have to be working 24/7, but this is dangerous!

You feel guilty when taking a break because you always feel like there is something else you could be doing that is "more productive." 

This has pushed me into burnout and near-burnout more often than I care to admit, because I would just work constantly, and never give myself time to rest!

And when you think about it...

When do you get your best ideas for your business?

Maybe it's when you're taking a bath, or going on a walk? For me it's gardening. 

In other words...

You get your best ideas when you're RESTING!

Or another way of thinking about it...

When have you gotten a great, business-altering idea for your business when buried in your to-do list? 

Probably never!

So you need to schedule time to REST!

Once you've gotten proper rest, you'll find your mind buzzing with amazing ideas for your business, and you'll be eager and excited to dive back in and take action to grow your business!

But when you aren't taking breaks to relax...

Then your business just becomes a painful slog that makes you want to quit. 

So take breaks!

When you do all 3 of these, I think you'll find burnout becoming a thing of the past!

Most direct sellers are trying to do too much!
